  • Current Price: $1000 Per Team!
  • You’re not really sure how you’d go. Your fitness levels are pretty good, you train regularly, but you’re no elite athlete. Your power lies in your dogged determination to ‘have a go’ and never give up!

  • Current Price: $1000 Per Team
  • As an intermediate level participant you’re an experienced trainee, and your fitness levels are pretty handy… you train hard, and can hold your own with most people you know. Your power lies in your experience and understanding.

  • Current Price: $1000 Per Team
  • As an advanced level participant you are definitely a cut above the rest when it comes to this kind of challenge. Your power lies in the fact that you know who you are, you know what you are capable of, and you know you can do this! If there was a Battle Cup TV show, you’d be first in line to sign up.

The race:
- Three identical parallel sets of 16 in-line obstacles grouped into 4 sets of 4 obstacles – “The Gauntlet”
- Graduating levels of difficulty from obstacle 1 to 4
- Teams of 4
- Relay race style (i.e. physical tag from team member to team member)
- 3 categories - Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced.
- Knock-out rounds
- One overall winner in each category

The rounds:
Round 1 - all teams in each category will ‘run the gauntlet’
2 teams of 4 per gauntlet x 3 gauntlets (6 teams running at once), until all teams have run the gauntlet. Each gauntlet is comprised of 4 sets of 4 obstacles

Round 2 - Knock-out: all teams in each category will ‘run the gauntlet'
2 teams per Gauntlet – the fastest team per in-line obstacle run will qualify for the next round – the loser is out of the competition.

Rounds 3 & onwards
Round 2 will be repeated until only one team in that category is left, this will be the Champion of that category (see “Winning the Battle Cup Obstacle Challenge in the Rules of Engagement’).

It is always a good idea to bring along your own snacks and supplies, though. PLEASE NOTE that we cannot guarantee the availability of EFTPOS facilities so it will be best to bring CASH FOR FOOD. Please bring a water bottle for when you are in line.

There will be no bag drop at this venue – your vehicle will be very close to the course, so we recommend that you keep most of your belongings locked in your vehicle.

We may, however, have an envelope drop area. You will be able to seal your Drivers Licence and car keys in an envelope, and provide a password to enable you to collect it at the end of the day. All care will be taken, but no responsibility will be accepted for lost personal items.
